Nowadays, every page that you turn in the leviathan vade mecum that is the Internet, speaks of on-demand streaming services with Netflix taking the center stage. Many of you are perhaps well aware of the fact that video-on-demand is the cable TV of the present generation. But is the traditional real-time broadcast programming really pushing up daisies?
Even though on-demand entertainment is the current hot potato, we can’t deny that an ideal TV service would be one that offers a fusion of linear TV as well as on-demand TV. Hulu discerned this right in time and bubbled up a good mix of plans.
The company started off as a free streaming service but very soon, it expanded to a subscription-based VOD service, thanks to its fast-growing popularity alongside Netflix. Earlier this year, Hulu made live TV available to its audience with over 50 channels on the platter. At only $40 per month, you not only get access to Hulu’s Live TV channels but also get to enjoy its original shows and on-demand content.

Firstly, some of the channels on the list may not be available in some regions so you may actually get less value for money. Make sure that you check the channel list as per the aforementioned guidelines.
Secondly, while you get most of the big TV networks with Hulu Live TV, AMC remains missing from the list. So if you’re a fan of “The Walking Dead”, you’re out of luck. Also, all the Viacom networks are missing. If these two networks are what you’re seeking, Hulu’s Live TV plan may not be the best online TV viewing option for you.
However, if these are not sitting at the top of your entertainment priority list, you must go ahead and subscribe without giving it a second thought. At $40, it is a pretty good steal.
